Today's post is an image from my NatureYoga Collection. The following is the project statement:
The Sanskrit noun योग yoga is derived from the root yuj (युज्), "to attach, join, harness, yoke."
Making pictures is my spiritual, mental, and emotional practice. It is how I strive to understand myself, the world, and those in it.
It is simultaneously an interrogation, a communication, and an interaction.
Metaphors, analogy, and symbology are the building blocks of my art language. Nature is a canvas I draw from and onto frequently.
In this photograph titled Perfect, I am reflecting on perfection. It is so easy to include and exclude what I consider to be perfect as if I knew. But, as with most pre-judgments, I am usually wrong much more than not.
